PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Gathers materials from government, military, commercial and private collections and recommends most appropriate to editors and designers based on script requirements.

• Familiar with extensive historic visuals from library, museum, commercial and private collections from London, Paris, Rome, Bonn, Berlin and Vienna, as well as U.S. Proficient knowledge of internet photo and editorial research sources and familiarity with various search engines. Experienced with online acquisition of images for web, print, and film documentary use.

• Creates shooting scripts and provides detailed visual information for assigned photographers and commissioned artists. Checks commissioned art for accuracy.

• Provides researched materials for text, essays, and picture captions and checks written copy for accuracy and proper annotations.

• Negotiates picture permissions, payment policies and writes picture credits.

• Eight week introductory courses completed each in darkroom and photography classes, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and PageMaker programs. Amateur digital and analog photographer.
